Merry Christmas!

Happy holidays to everyone :)

Last night, I probably went to bed at 7 pm. We aren't religious, so no church services to worry about missing.

Today, the kids (my niece and nephew) woke me up at 5 AM, and we rushed down to the tree to open presents. The kids were pretty happy with their respective gifts, as were my sister and mother. Due to an unfortunate series of events, my father is in the US today, so he'll celebrate Christmas when he gets home next weekend.

Myself, I received a new winter hat to replace a lost one, as well as a page-a-day calender for 2012, which is a traditional gift from my mother.

I also received Dance Central 2 for my Xbox. I like using the kinect, because it makes me feel less lazy when I play video games. Needless to say, the kids and I danced all morning.I'm sure a review of this game will follow in the coming days after I get accustomed to it.

My mother also promised that she bought me a new wristwatch from Fossil. However, she had it shipped to my Grandfather, and the mail is a little slow as of yet. All of the watches that i have owned have been Walmart or comparable quality, so this is my first "grown-up" watch. It matches the first "grown-up" purse that I bought in September (my Coach purse is my baby).

Afterwards, mom made pancakes, and we've been lazing the rest of the day. I am sure that this trend will continue. The kids are chilling in their fort, my sister is making grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch, mom is sleeping, and I love it.

Happy holidays, no matter what you celebrate, and I hope everyone has a safe and joyous season.
