Lush Space Girl Bath Bomb
I haven’t ever spent much time in Lush, but it’s really blowing up the internet as the place to get your fresh and all-natural personal care products. Not one to turn down the opportunity to try something new, I headed over to a newly opened store. Don`t worry guys, I did this before my spending ban came into effect! Although, I was almost out of body wash, and was completely prepared to justify that. Anyway, I picked up a bath bomb. I don`t take baths much, but I`ve been really stressed out lately over work and school and such, so I thought that maybe a day of relaxation would be in order. I spent literally hours in the store seeing every single product they had. Every. Damn. One. I picked up a couple of other things as well, but I`ll be talking about them at a later time. Today, I really want to focus on the majesty that is the Space Girl Bath Bomb.
For the cost of $5, you get to have the most relaxing time you`ve ever had in the bath. That`s only a slight exaggeration. It really is great. Space Girl is purpley blue in color, shaped like Saturn, and sprinked liberally with glitter. It also smells like a dream. Blackcurrant and grapefruit is just heavenly to the nose. When you drop it into your bath (I have a tiny tub, so I just used half, but it was still marvelous), it explodes into fizz. It has some poprocks-esque candy in it that fizzes and trails through the water as well. Speaking of water, it`s now a wonderful purple color! But don`t worry, it doesn`t transfer to the skin.
Between the smell and the visual effects, it made for a very relaxing bath. My skin also ended up a little softer due to the nourishing essential oils in the bath bomb. Overall, impressed. I probably won`t use this everyday, but for the occasional day of relaxation, it was marvelous.
Have you used Lush bath bombs before? Which is your favorite?
