Influenster L'Oreal #MysteryBrand Voxbox Revealed

It’s time for the big reveal. In this post, I talked about Influenster’s #MysteryBrand Voxbox and made my guesses. Today when I got home from the library, I opened up my mailbox to find this!

The L’Oreal Mystery Brand turned out to be Garnier’s Damage Eraser line, which is new and in stores now! This line has Phyto-Keratin complex, plant based proteins, active fruit concentrate, as well as Capuacu butter to reconstruct hair strength 90%.

I was surprised that the mystery products turned out to be something so low in cost, because using the shampoo, conditioner, and serum that I received felt so luxurious.

The texture of all three was wonderful. Using it every day also wasn’t a big problem, unlike with a lot of products made specifically for damaged hair. My hair wasn’t extra oily, and it didn’t dry out my scalp. It also made my crazy curls really manageable. I did have a little bit of product buildup that I had to use a different shampoo to remove after more than a week of continuous use. I don’t see this as a huge problem though. As I’ve mentioned (probably a hundred times) I heat treat my hair frequently, although I’m cutting back, so I’m in need of good products for dry and damaged hair. This delivered on all of their promises, and I can highly recommend it.

Inside the box was Fortifying Shampoo, Fortifying Conditioner, Split Ends Bandage Serum, and a bonus product of Strength Reconstructing Butter.

Fortifying Shampoo

Want to bring back strength, vitality & shine to damaged hair? Reconstruct hair's strength for strong hair that looks rejuvenated.

I thought originally that this smelled like bananas, although that is not the case. Surprising, certainly. As I mentioned in my last post, it is really thin in consistency, and lathers up like nobody’s business. Because of this, I found I didn’t need to use as much product. I don’t think that it’s the best shampoo in the world, but it gets the job done.

Fortifying Conditioner

Want to bring back strength, vitality & shine to damaged hair? Reconstruct hair's strength for strong hair that looks rejuvenated.

This was the product that I found felt so much more expensive than it actually is. This conditioner is thick and creamy. My hair feels healthier when I use this. It makes my hair so soft and tangle free. Like a lot of curly-haired girls, I don’t usually brush my hair if I can help it. There are definitely no tangles at all when I’m done rinsing this out, making that a lot easier for me.

Split End Bandage Serum

Formulated with Phyto-Keratin complex and Cupuaçu butter, each drop helps prevent split ends and reconstructs and preserves hair's strength.

This stuff is amazing! It’s oily in consistency, but doesn’t make her greasy or weighed down. As the directions stated, I put this on towel-dried hair after shaking out most of the water. I have been smearing this all over my hair, paying special attention to the ends.  I can tell the difference in terms of frizz as soon as my hair dries. It also adds a noticeable amount of shine. People have complimented me on how shiny my hair is, and this is the secret trick.

Strength Reconstructing Butter

This rich, indulgent butter is designed to intensely reconstruct hair's strength for strong, rejuvenated and shiny-looking hair.

I’ve been all about hair masques lately. I’ve been getting a ton of them as samples or gifts. This time of the year my hair is especially frizzy because of the cold winter air. It’s started to be a once-a-week thing now. I haven’t tried this one out yet, but I am definitely looking forward to giving it a go. Just playing around with it on my hand, it smells great and is intensely thick. If it’s anything like the other products in this line, I’m going to love it.

I was really impressed with this. Much more so than I thought I’d be, honestly. I don’t know if I mentioned this before, but I’m currently trying to finish as many products as I can (Finish It February) so I will be adding these in after I’m done using up all of my half-empty products.

Have you tried the Garnier Damage Eraser line? What did you think?

I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.
