Pura D'Or Argan Oil

Let's talk about something gross. About every three months, my hair starts to fall out. My hair is so thick that I can't tell a difference in the way it looks, but it's still really scary to see clumps of your coming out in the shower. When Pura D'Or gave me the opportunity to try out some of their products I jumped at the chance, mostly because their shampoo and conditioner are specially formulated to prevent hair loss.

I tired out three different Pura D'Or products: a shampoo, a conditioner, and straight up Argan oil.

Premium Organic Anti Hair Loss Argan Oil Based Shampoo

This shampoo claims to prevent hair loss, strengthen hair with biotin, add volume and boost hair growth. It is also paraben, SLS, and gluten free. It has a lot of natural ingredients, but no artificial fragrances. Because of this, it has a very strong scent. This is one of those love-it-or-hate-it things. I really like the effects of the shampoo, so I am willing to put up with the smell for that. My hair has so much volume and looks sleek and healthy. I'm willing to do a lot for that.

Premium Organic Argan Oil Based Conditioner in Lavender Vanilla

This conditioner is 99% vegetable ingredients, manages frizz, enhances shine, and is paraben, sulfate, and gluten free. Like the name says, it also contains Argan oil. After trying the shampoo and being a little overwhelmed with the scent, this smelled so good. It's mostly a vanilla fragrance with just a hint of lavender. It also masks the scent from the shampoo really well, making them perfect to use together. It's also this gorgeously thick formula that really coats your hair.

After using the conditioner, my hair feels so moisturized. It's less frizzy and has a beautiful shine. It isn't greasy or weighs down my hair either. It feels to me like I haven't used any conditioner on it at all, but still has all the effects like I have.

Pure and Organic Argan Oil

Imported from Morocco, this Argan oil is unrefined with no chemicals. I have been loving this to add a little bit of shine and moisture to the ends of my hair after heat styling, and also to moisturize my skin first thing in the morning. The cold has returned, and with it the dry skin. I am so happy with this. Just a couple of drops works, and I love that it's organic.

If you're looking to try out a slightly less expensive version of MoroccanOil, I suggest checking out Pura D'Or. They have a lot of different products for whatever you need. You can buy their many many products online, here
