Benefit Roller Lash Mascara Before and After

I don’t curl my lashes. Ever.

Whew.

I feel so much better now that’s off my chest.

I feel like it’s against everything that I believe in to say that I don’t curl my eyelashes, but I honestly can not see a difference when I use a curler compared to when I don’t, and I pinch myself so often…so it’s not worth it. It’s not worth it at all to me.

But then Roller Lash happened.

I love Benefit, but their mascaras have never impressed me. I am not a fan of Bad Gal because it smudges so badly, and They’re Real tends to look clumpy on me, even if I’m really careful about it. Still, I had heard great things, so I decided to give it a try. I’ve been using it for a few weeks, because I wanted to make sure I really knew what I thought before I made a post. Well, I know now.

It’s great.

This mascara is designed around hair rollers, as the name implies. The brush is supposed to be similar to a Velcro roller. It’s supposed to push your eyelashes up, curl them, and keep them there all day.
The wand is plastic and has a very pronounced curve, with little tiny plastic hooks of varying sizes. I’m definitely more into brush wands than plastic ones, but this one may covert me.

It really does curl your lashes and stick them in place all day. There is no smudging or flaking, even though the formula is quite wet. You get it all with this formula. Length, volume, and curl. Just look at the before-and-after and you’ll see what I mean.

No Makeup
This lasts an average amount of time for me, giving me about eight hours of wear before I need to start worrying about the smudging. If you usually don’t have smudgey eyes, then this one will probably last forever on you.

Mascara only (and admittedly better lighting)
Overall, I give this one a definitely buy. Check it out the next time you’re in Sephora.
