Glossybox | July 2015

Another month, another Glossybox! To start things off, this is the least good Glossybox I've gotten, but it's still by far my favorite beauty box that I receive at the moment. So here's what came in this month's box:

Face Stockholm Lipliner in Yvonne
Full size: $17
Sample size: $17

I wasn’t sure about this when I first pulled it out, as you can see in my video. I’ve never used a wooden lipliner, and the color on this is fairly dark. It wears nicely though, so I believe that I will be putting git on hold until I start getting the darker neutral lips out in a month or two.

Naked Lips Organic Lip Balm
Full size: $5.50
Sample size: $5.50

You can’t have too many lipbalms. This one is very solidly peppermint, to the near-extreme. So much mint. But it conditions the lips well and goes on smooth, not hard or chunky like other balms. If you’re looking for something organic and natural, this is a good choice.

Hey Honey I Peel Good!
Full size: $59
Sample size: $29.50

I’ve used Hey Honey products in the past, and have yet to be disappointed. This peel does noticeably change skin’s texture after just one use. I am impressed, and happy with this. It’s not harsh at all, but is clearly taking off dry skin and leaving behind soft and clean skin underneath. This peel also isn’t on sale until the end of the month, so all of the Glossy subscribers get to try it out before it’s even for sale. Good job Glossybox!!

Cargo Cosmetics Water Resistant Blush in Coronado
Full size: $26
Sample size: $11.74

Cargo makes wonderful blushes and they are as close to waterproof as you can get. We’re talking 12+ hours of wear, every day, without fail. This color is also beautifully natural for a perfect flush. I’m excited to work this one into my everyday routine.

Kueshi Anticellutlite Booster
Full size: $22.60
Sample size: $22.60

This was a product I wasn’t sure what to do with. I’m not super insecure about my cellulite, and it’s not something I dwell on. I also think that anticellulite creams are kind of a gimmick. Do any of them work? Results from this are not immediately noticeable. I will keep using it, but I’m still unsure about whether its doing anything. It does have a great smell. It’s a strange citrus floral? It’s hard to describe, but is lovely.

I think of all the glossyboxes I’ve received so far, this one is my least favorite, but it’s still really nice. With a total value of $86.34, it’s well worth the money. You can check out Glossybox here for $21 a month in the US (ships to Canada too!).
