Makeup for your Legs? Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs Lotion Review
Let’s be honest. There are a lot of products in my stash that are just too much. They take makeup a little too far. Not every part of your body needs primer, and you probably don’t need to use ridiculous things like “finishing water” or “creaming powder”. That’s not to say I don’t use these things, because I do, but they are extra. You don’t
need them.
Makeup. For your legs. What else is more extraneous than that?
Influenster sent me the Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs Lotion in Medium this past week to try out and review. There are things I love about this, but also things I hate, so let’s talk about that.
Let’s get the bad stuff out of the way:
The bad news is that medium is way too dark for me. It doesn’t look too bad indoors, under fluorescent light, but outside, the difference is incredibly noticeable. It also has a very noticeable kind of strange scent. Similar to getting a spray tan. It doesn’t fade at all when you’re wearing it. Kinda gross.
If you can get past the smell and find a color that works for you, this is actually not bad. It adds a little bit of color a teeny bit of sheen to your legs. It makes them just…better. The other nice thing about this is that once it sets (let it dry before getting dressed!), it has to be washed off with soap. It came off in the shower easily, but it took a little scrubbing.
Overall, this is pretty good. Is it the kind of thing you use every day? No. Not at all. But if you have a special occasion, like a wedding, an important party, maybe prom or a big school dance, this is great for making you feel extra glamorous, like you’re walking the red carpet.
