Boxycharm Unboxing | January 2016

Another Boxycharm has landed on my doorstep. This month’s theme is Eyes on 2016 and gives you everything that you need to create a beautiful and striking eye look.

Boxycharm continues to surprise me with their high-quality boxes, but this one is definitely my favorite. 100%, the best subscription box I’ve ever gotten.

Watch my unboxing here:

In this box:

Blinc Mascara Amplified - $26

Coats lashes with a glossy, volumizing and extending application that forms tiny, water-resistant ‘tubes’ around the lashes. Applies like a traditional mascara, giving you the ability to add as many coats as you want to build your desired look!

This brand was something I had heard of, but never used. It came in a cool little cigar tube-like package, which was incredibly unique. I was really excited about the tubing mascara. I’ve wanted to try one, but haven’t yet. Blinc does not disappoint. It gave me amazing lashes. The most amazing lashes. It also stays on for pretty much forever. Taking it off is…unique…though. Black goop just slides off your eyes as soon as you touch it with makeup remover and not a moment before. Definitely recommend.

Coastal Scents Revealed Smoky - $19.95

Features 20 all-new smoldering eyeshadows in a dramatic variety of hues and textures.

I was so excited to see this. I couldn’t justify purchasing the Naked Smoky palette, so I eagerly ripped this guy open. I won’t say too much here, because I have a full review on just this palette coming up on Wednesday, but –spoiler alert- I love it.

Royal & Langnickel Brush Set [R]evolution - $23.97

Take your application to the next level. These breakthrough brushes feature 100% vegan, synthetic Natrafil fibers that mimic the performance and feel of fine, natural hair for a flawless finish! Brushes are sold individually on the Royal and Langnickel website.

The two smaller brushes are right up my alley. They pick up and deliver pigment well, and they’re fantastically soft. The third one (the “smudger”) sucks. It’s not good at anything. Because of this, I would say to tread lightly when looking through their brushes, and maybe check out their return policy.

Ardency Inn Modster Smooth Ride Supercharged Eyeliner in Lilac - $19

A creamy, waterproof eyeliner supercharged with pure pigments.

Ardency Inn is a South Korean brand, and one that I have not used or heard of. It’s really good. You can smudge it out, but once it sets it is not moving. It also glides on so beautifully. I’m not such a huge fan of the color, just because it’s a little bright for my taste. I’m working on brainstorming ways to use it that suit me, because it’s so lovely a formula.

And that's this month's box! As you can tell, the value of this box is way more than the $21 that I paid for it. I'm completely in love with Boxycharm, so if you want to check it out, please do! You can find them here.

I'll see you in a couple of days for the Revealed Smoky swatch-a-thon. :)
