The Colors of February
When you think about what color sums up February, we all know that the answer is pink or red. It’s the colors of Valentine’s Day, and of love. It’s the colors of brightness and joy while we’re coming out of the polar vortex. And it’s one of the most popular colors for face makeup. Here are a few of my favorite red and pink products for a romantic February.
Real Techniques Blush Brush
The Real Techniques blushes are hands-down the best. They are cost-effective and are truly better than so many higher end brushes that I’ve plunked down good money for. This blush brush is one of my favorites and I use it so often that I don’t clean it as much as I should. Yikes.
NCLA Nail Lacquer in Call my Agent
This was something that came out of the newest Allure box. I’ve been wearing it nonstop for the last few weeks and it is 100% gorgeous. I’ll be wearing this one this whole month, I am sure.
Drunk Elephant TLC Sukari Baby Facial
This is a product that I can totally credit with turning the texture of my skin from okay to great. This is a treatment, so it stays on for about 20 minutes, and then it gets rinsed off. It burns a little, but it’s not too painful. In the beginning, I didnt notice a huge difference, but now I definitely do, and this is the only thing that’s different in my routine!
MAC Ruby Woo Lipstick
I have talked this lipstick up and down for years. I did a whole post on it last year, which is linked here. It’s a matte, and that’s not for everyone, but this is the red lipstick that every girl should have.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette
I won’t talk your ear off about this one because I just did a post on this, but you know that it’s because I’m going to be wearing this bad boy on Valentine’s Day. The reds are just so rich and beautiful, and I could not possibly give this enough praise!
