Third, Fourth, Fifth Day Hair

I have generally large, curly hair. It's been a struggle for a lot of my life as I've found tips and tricks to tame the mess. It's also no secret that I love a good dry shampoo. I've tried out literally dozens in my quest. Don't get me wrong, there are some that I love, but finding one that is entirely perfect is like finding a unicorn.

I've been testing out the Hask Argan Dry Shampoo and think I've found my unicorn. I was initially very skeptical because oil and dry shampoo don't go together. It turns out that my worries we misplaced. This degreases as well as any other dry shampoo on the market, but it doesn't have the intense mattifying effect. I personally want my hair to be shiny, not greasy, and this preserves the shine without the grease.

The spray on this is very powerful, so I do recommend holding it at least the recommended six inches away for the best results, or it might look a little dusty. There is a light white cast. I'm very cautious about this because my hair is naturally fairly dark, but this is barely noticeable and easily brushed away.

My favorite thing about thus dry shampoo is definitely the scent. Hask has put out a range of four dry shampoos, each to target a particular hair issue that can be solved by dry shampoo. This one, the moisturizing Argan oil formula, has a delightful citrus scent. It's light and airy, with a soft orange oil smell. It's not heavy or overpowering in any way.

Compared to many drugstore dry shampoos this one is average in price point at $8. I wouldn't consider it to be cheap, but it's price conscious. It easily fits into my budget while performing as well as many other much more expensive products.

For the price and the performance, I would use this again and again. I might try some different varieties next time that my can runs out. I've got my eye on the purifying charcoal version. Either way, I think that Hask has won a place in my beauty cupboard to stay. It's available at most drugstores. I usually pick mine up at Target. Hask also has a really great Instagram account that you can follow here!

Hey! Thanks for still reading. Just letting you know that Hask did send these haircare products along as a press sample. They didn't tell me what to say, and this post was not sponsored! If you have any questions on press samples or sponsorships, it's totally okay to ask. I want this to be a transparent place. :)
