Moving Ahead
Recently, I was catching up with a friend, and it was really exciting to hear about the great things happening in her life, and also to tell her about the great things happening in mine. I love being able to share good news, and these days I feel like I only have good news.
School
Is done. I finished the last paper of my master’s degree and I’ll be picking up the diploma in only a few short weeks. Yes. I am so excited that it is finally done and that I can move forward with my career.
Work
I’m currently on the job market, if you’re hiring, but I’m not worried at all. I’m sending out applications for positions that I’m really excited about, and I feel so fortunate to be able to be choosey about where I want to work. Maybe I will feel less choosey soon, but for now, I’m feeling like everything is wonderful.
I also am launching a printable stationery store on etsy (announcement coming soon!). It’s something that I’ve been passionate about for a while, and I hope that you’ll like them too. I don’t think that this will be a huge money-making venture, but if you’re looking for some affordable printables for a party, announcement, wedding…let me know. I’ll hook you up.
Life
Everything at home is awesome. Biscuit has been having some allergy issues. There are also a lot of changes at home, with my family and I sporadically travelling. Charles has also been here on some visits so that he can get used to her and she can get used to him. We’re planning on relocating to be closer together near the holidays. If we’re being honest, I’m a little conflicted about this because I was gone from my family last year, and would like to be home for the holidays this year. I’m not sure how we’ll fit that in the schedule, but I am sure that we’ll figure it out.
So that’s the news (from Lake Woebegone). Things are looking up. I feel like I don’t think my readers (you guys) nearly enough. Every month there are thousands of you now, and I appreciate that every day.
Thanks for coming along for the adventure.
