Magnetic Nail Polish

Sometimes, I'm a little behind the times. This time, I'm not really that far behind the curve. See, I like to look at trends before they hit Main Street, and magnetic nail polish wasn't an exception. When I first saw the London Inc magnetic nail polishes at Sephora, I thought they were nice, but they were a little pricey at $22. I don't really believe in spending that much on nail polish. It makes me sad when I see it priced that high, so I just walked away.

Beth is an even bigger nail polish junkie than me, so she found Sally Hansen's Magnetic Nail Colour at the grocery recently, and snapped up a bottle for a cool $7.99. Much more reasonable. And oh is it fun. You paint on one coat as the base, then a second kind of gloopy coat. While it's still wet, you hold the magnet over it, and it makes fun wave shapes.

It turns out really cool, and as Beth astutely remarked "It makes my fingers look 3D." Yes it does, Beth. Yes it does.
