3 Weeks...Oops.

It’s been weeks since I last blogged. Whoopsie.

School has really torn me apart the past few weeks. We’re at that time of the year where everything is due at the same time, so no one even has time to catch their breath. It’s just awful. On top of that it’s time to get started thinking about the summer. Well, beyond time to get started. I’m heading back to America for the summer, so I’ve been working to get everything in order before I leave for a few months. The frightening part about that is that I don’t have a job or much of a plan. I’m just going to go and do it. It will be an adventure, whether it’s a disaster or a roaring success. Either way, it will be nice to have a change for a few months, and I’ll get to see some of my far-away family.

I start exams next Monday, and that’s going to be a frightening time, I think. After exams are over, Beth and I are moving house. I’m looking forward to a change of scenery, as well as a place that is cheaper, nicer, and closer to school. It’s also bigger, but with one less bedroom. My friends Kathleen, Ian, and Henry will also be my neighbours, which will be nice. Well, it means I won’t have to walk 15 minutes home at midnight after Grey’s Anatomy night anymore. That will be nice.

I’m doing a lot of cleaning up and throwing out in my spare time. I call it productive procrastination, where I put off writing my Islam essay by cleaning my house. On the plus side, everything is spotless….but my 2000 word essay is sitting at about 200 words. I suppose that’s today’s project *sigh*.

I hope you’re all having a good Easter full of delicious chocolaty treats and that if you’re a student exams don’t hit with the force of a freight train.

Do you plan on escaping for the summer?
