Nail of the Day: Fall Berry
Today I wanted to talk about my favourite fall nail polish.
I know, I know, it’s not quite fall. Right now, in Halifax, it damn well feels
like it. It’s been chilly every day, but more than that, the air feels crisp.
It’s hard to describe. It has that sharp sort of feeling that it gets right as
summer is leaving. It’s not rain, so I can’t complain.
One of the big trending colours is burgundy/oxblood/whatever
you want to call it, and I feel like I’ll be diving into that as soon as fall
really hits. For now, it’s still a little dark and heavy to be wearing, at
least around here. Still, to help with the transition to fall, I’ve been
wearing it on my nails.
Joe Fresh’s Bumbleberry nail polish retails for $4 (yay!)
and is just gorgeous. It’s not quite oxblood, but it’s a really nice,
flattering berry colour. I love it. I think it goes with everything and is just
fantastic.
Unfortunately, it does chip if you don’t take care to put on
a topcoat, but lasts just fine with.
What’s your favourite fall colour?
PS, my camera arrives tomorrow after a long dang time of it being not with me, so hopefully photos shall improve.
