Valentia Even Glow Serum Review

I feel like this blog has become my bad skin diary. I finally found a skincare routine that was working for me (really, truly working) when a disaster struck! It’s no secret that my job has been very stressful lately and it’s been showing all over my skin. I have a couple of face-volcanoes waiting to erupt. I didn’t have acne as a teenage (lucky duck that I was) so this is new and unpleasant. The biggest problem that I’m having is, surprise, dryness. As my blemishes are healing up, the skin they’re leaving behind is desert-dry and tight.

I’ve used serums sporadically, but never really stuck with one. I had the opportunity a couple of weeks ago to try the Valentia Even Glow Serum and it has changed that.

This serum contains organic rosehip oil, organic sea buckthorn oil (I don’t know what that is), green tea extract, plant stem cells, and everyone’s favorite hyaluronic acid.

It claims to even skin tone, increase glow and radiance, boost collagen production, and reduce wrinkles and fine lines. Some of this stuff is obviously hard to test. I don’t know if my collagen production has been boosted. I do know that my skin looks and feels better.

I’m so impressed with this. My skin seems brighter, smoother, and more moisturized. I feel better after I put this on, even before I put on the rest of my makeup.

Valentia said that there serum is the best smelling, and I have to agree. Its citrus-sweet tang is lovely, especially first thing in the morning. I think it’s even better than Ole Henriksen, which I thought had the best scent of anything I’ve put on my face ever. I’m also in love with the vintage medicine bottle container it comes in. I’m already looking forward to reusing the bottle when it’s gone.

The serum is relatively thin and has an orange color. It separates a little in the bottle, but shaking it up fixes that. It’s also quick absorbing, disappearing into my skin in less than 15 seconds.

This serum is available exclusively on Amazon here, or by searching "Vitamin C Serum for Face", with a MRSP of $85. Right now it’s on sale for $35 if you want to pick it up. You can also check out there website here. It’s a good investment into the overall care of your skin and one that I’ll be sticking with for a long time to come.
