Valentia Royal Rose Hydrating Serum
I’ve already been extolling the virtues of natural skincare brand, Valentia. They thought that I would like to try out another serum from their line. I have long been a fan of their Vitamin C serum, so I was excited when they sent along a bottle of their Royal Rose Hydrating Serum.
Those of us with dry and sensitive skin have a lot of skin issues, and I find that having a good skincare routine to help get around that. Don’t get me wrong, everyone needs a good skincare routine, but I had a hard time finding things that really worked for my dry skin.
A serum is a huge part of this because it helps all of the other moisturizers you put on top of it to sink in and last longer. This serum has even more ingredients to help with this, including Damask Rose oil, which is one of the most skin-friendly oils, Vitamin B, and other skin oils. This combination is supposed to help fade dark spots (a major problem for me) and help brighten the skin.
Unlike other serums, this is less of a liquid and more of a cream. This does seem to help it dry faster, but with the same moisture as other serums that I have had tried. It does smell faintly of rose, but not distractingly so. It does give me a lot of the moisture that I need, and because it dries faster than my other serums, I find myself reaching for this one over all the others. Here’s hoping that over time my dark spots will fade away too!
You can find Valentia on their website, or over on amazon!
