Walmart Beauty Box | Spring 2016
Walmart is one
retailer that gets kind of a bad rap where I live. It gets called its fair
share of unsavory names, but the fact remains that they have all of your beauty
needs for less. Their prices cannot be
beat where I live. Walmart sends out a beauty box quarterly with some of the
products that they’re highlighting in stores.
I love this beauty box
because, while Boxycharm gives me fun new things to try, Walmart gives me
things that are practical. They’re
the basics, and sometimes, that’s all you need. Check out my unboxing below, or keep scrolling to find out what's in the box! :)
In this quarter’s box:
Colgate White Platinum Express White Toothpaste
I already use the
regular Colgate White and I love it. It does tend to give me some tooth
sensitivity if I use it every day, so I tend to alternate it with another
brand.
Jergen’s Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer in Fair
to Medium
This is something else
that I already use! This is the best gradual tanner for getting ready for
spring. I also did a whole post on it here.
Biore Baking Soda Pore Cleanser
I was so excited to
get to try this! I’ve been testing it out and it’s a good amount of abrasive
while still being gentle enough to use every day. I love it so far. I haven’t
seen any major improvement in my acne, but there’s still some time.
John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Visibly Brighter
Subtle Lightening Shampoo
I like the way that
this makes my hair feel after I’ve washed it. I haven’t noticed a change in my
hair color, but maybe it takes some more time to show up? I’m going to keep up
with it.
Curel Itch Defense Body Wash
I ended up passing
this along to someone else, because I don’t have any problems with itchy dry
skin on my body, this just wasn’t for me.
CeraVe Skin Protectant Healing Ointment
This is another thing
that I appreciate getting, but isn’t for me. I’ll be passing it along.
Burt’s Bees BB Cream Sample with Coupon
This was a fairly good
color match for me, but I don’t really need another foundation/foundation
replacement any time soon. If you’re in the market though, give it a try. The
finish is lightly luminous, but natural.
L’Oreal True Match Tester Card and
Coupon
So that's this quarter's box! What did you think? Worth the $5?
