Actually Everyday Cait

I’ve been thinking about the blog a lot lately, as evidenced by the constant changes, updates, and alterations being made. I’ve put some serious thought into how I want it to feel and look like moving forward.

It’s time for a scheduling change. Lately, Everyday Cait has been more like probably-every-week Cait. In the meantime, I’ve been stockpiling content and doing some writing that I’m really proud of, and it’s time to share that with you.

I’m updating the schedule, optimistically, to have posts up five days a week. Yep. Five. I’ve done it before, and that was the time that I felt most wonderful about my blog.

But they won’t be all beauty posts.

I started Everyday Cait as a beauty blog, and I want to stick to its roots there. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday will be dedicated beauty and fashion posts. Tuesdays and Thursdays will be more wild-card days. You might see some travel posts, food, dog photos, or think pieces on those days. I am also (again, very optimistically) going to try to put out a video every Wednesday. Yikes.

In the spirit of this, and today being Tuesday, I have a short announcement to make.

I want to take this moment to introduce the Cait Shop. It’s another thing that I’ve been interested in doing for a long time, and it’s finally coming along. As of tonight, there are a couple of art prints available on the Shop page. I’ve tried to keep the prices as reasonable as possible compared to my costs. There is very little markup on my end because I wanted to keep the prices low. I have hopes to bring out t-shirts, mugs, and, of course, more art. I’ve had a hard time finding affordable, high quality art for my home, so the solution seemed to be to make some myself.

I’m hoping that this is the start of a fun new chapter for me, and for all of you as well. Seeing that so many people enjoy my blog posts has been one of the most amazing things about my past few years on the internet. Thank you for coming with me on this journey, and for being part of my adventure.
