Best Gifts for Mom | Blogmas #3

If your mom is anything like mine, she is the glue that keeps the family together. As I’m writing this, she’s folding my laundry while baking a pie…so yeah. You could say I have some things to be thankful for there. For my mom, I want to get her something that’s cool, quirky, and probably practical. Here are a few thoughts.

My mom is a huge bookworm. She likes books, she has a lot of books, and I’m always on the lookout for new ones that she would like. This year, my picks are a new planner like this one by Rifle Paper Co. It’s elegant, but functional. For a laugh, I like Notorious RBG about the life and times of Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Finally, a good cookbook. I like this one called The Fearless Baker. It has a healthy dose of chocolate, but also a lot of greet info on fixing your mistakes.

For around the house, I love this vase from Clive. It would look beautiful in an entryway or on a desk. My mom also writes a thousand letters. I love this sheep address tamp from Etsy. Custom made and perfect for the back of letters—casual or formal. When writing those letters, it’s important to keep energized…with this French press from Bodom. The copper is gorgeous, and again, functional for early mornings or late nights.

Lastly…wearables. I love some wearables, and so does mom. She is always on the go and in need of a good handbag that can go from carry-on to boardroom. My pick is the perennially perfect Longchamp Le Pliage Tote, available in a thousand colors. For her many travels away from home, she could also use some toasty PJs, like these ones from Lulie Wallace. Finally, to hold her makeup, jewelry, and other tiny things during a trip, I like this case from Kate Spade.

I’ve already finished shopping for my mom, but if you’re a last minute bargain-hunter, I hope this gave you some ideas!
