Biscuit's Big Day
If you've been following my blog for a while, you know that Biscuit is probably the most important thing in my life. When I say that my dog is part of the family, I mean it. She is truly our only child, and we put so much effort into making sure that she's happy and healthy and cared for. She's probably the most well-loved dog in existence.
And it's her birthday! Our little baby turns three today! It's been hard to think about time slipping away like it has. When I first welcomed Biscuit into my home, I hadn't met Charles, I hadn't yet started grad school, and I was still looking for my place as an adult.
All of these things have changed. I've packed up and moved across the country twice with this little nugget. I convinced my boyfriend that he is indeed a dog person. I found a career that gives me the flexibility to pursue my passions and that I greatly care about. And Biscuit has been there the whole time.
I wanted to share a few pictures of Biscuit's Birthday Celebration, complete with hats and cake. She got to have a full day of treats and new toys and playing with her dog friends.
I didn't have anything particularly special to say, other than some pictures of our pretty princess on her big day. I can't say that I'm sad to see that puppy stage start to slip away, but I will miss her being so tiny and floppy that she would fall asleep in my lap when I was blogging. Today she just hogs the whole couch and licks my textbooks when I try to grade papers.
Happy birthday Biscuit! Thanks for making our lives better.
