Lipsticks from my Purse

Today, I felt like my purse was getting a little too stuffed. I came home, opened it up, and there were seven lip products inside. Seven. I haven’t done a favorites post in a while, and this seems like the most honest favorites that I have...it’s the lipsticks that don’t leave me. Ever.

In my purse:

Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipsticks (x2)

These are both custom shades, so I can’t tell you where to buy them. I’ll link the blog post here, and also encourage you to try out the Amuse Bouches the next time you’re at Sephora. I love the finish and the longevity, so please please check them out. They’re fantastic.

Sephora Cream Lip Stain in 01

Another jazzy red! This one was from the December Sephora Play. It’s mostly in the purse for convenience. It’s a laughably small sample. Look at how teeny it is! I like a good red, and this is an easy one to toss in my purse and go.

Marc Jacobs Le Marc Lip Cream in 216 Kiss Kiss Bang Bang

This lipstick came from the Sephora birthday gift last year. This year it’s a nice Tarte gift, which I’m very excited about. This is a very opaque, flattering pink, and it’s nice to throw on right before a meeting or a dinner.

Smashbox Always On Liquid Lipstick in Driver’s Seat

Another Sephora Play! holdover, this lipstick is a near-perfect dupe for Kat Von D’s Lolita. I am liking orange-brown right now when it’s not a pink day or a red day. I feel like it’s a statement in its own way, without being too obtrusive. That being said, I don’t think that this color is flattering for everyone.

NYX Butter Lipstick in Pops

I love the NYX Butter Lipsticks. They don’t last too long on, but they feel amazing and come in a million colors. This one is a happy medium between the pink and burnt orange.

Colourpop Ultra Matte Liquid Lipstick in Speed Dial

Another in the orange-brown family, this is one that I’m still testing out. I’ve been wearing it the past few days. I also recently did a review of a set that this came in that you could see here.

That’s it! My purse is feeling lighter, and I’m ready to start tomorrow with a fresh set of lipsticks.
