February Glymm Box
While I was out at my parents' house, my Glymm box arrived! It's my very first one, so I'm pretty excited to play with all the new products.
For those of you who haven’t heard of Glymm box, it’s a monthly subscription service where each month, you get a box of beauty products, some of which are full size, and some of which are sample size, for you to try out. It costs $10, plus whatever taxes your province has. It's currently only available in Canada, but there's several similar services such as glossybox and birchbox that cater to other countries. It comes in a neat little pink shipping box, and inside of that is a smaller pink box, with 4-5 product samples. Glymm also lets you build up reward points, which you can exchange for products or free boxes later. You can check them out at here.
My products this month were:
Mai Couture 2-1 Blotting/Bronzing Papier. The full size is $24 for 100 sheets, I got two sheets, or .48 worth of product.
Blotting Sheets - they came slightly wrinkled |
Burt’s Bees tinted lip balm in Rose. This was a full size product, worth $7.99.
The package made the product look deceptively large. |
Sula Natural Eyeshadow in Envy Looks Good. This was a full size product, worth $8.
A pretty light green! |
The lip balm and eyeshadow swatched on my hand. They're both very light (sheer). |
GlamGlow Tingling and Exfoliating Mud Mask. I got a 7mL sample. The full size for this is 50mL, for $78. I worked out the math, and this 7 mL sample is worth $10.92.
The package is hard to photograph, because it's very shiny. |
Smells nice, but looks like you're smearing dirt onto your hand. Also, it dries white. |
Total price: $27.39, but paid $11.
I did out a video of all the products, linked below. I hope you take a look, and as always, I'd love to hear from you :)
