Happy Halloween!

Ugh. Midterms got me again! School comes first guys, sorry. Anyway. I’m here now! And I’m done for a couple days! Today is my day off, where I’m really not putting any kind of stress on myself. I’ve been so tense that I’ve had back problems. It’s not pleasant.

AND. Today is Halloween! Relaxation is necessary!

Unfortunately, there is some bad news. I was really looking forward to getting trick-or-treaters. The last couple of years that I’ve been on my own, my flatmates and I have all by living in student housing, so we weren’t able to get kids begging for candy. This year, we have a flat with an actual front door that opens onto the street, so we were excited. Then T, the landlord, (T for Toolbox) decided that we needed new stairs. We really didn’t, but whatever. They started them like a week and a half ago, and they were supposed to take three days. Well. Nope. So we don’t have a front door. We do have a back door, except I don’t think parents want their kids to enter the dark alleyway to get some KitKats. So that was the end of the Halloween dream. We’ve had a few problems with T, but this one has been the most irksome I think. Nothing is ever done on time with him. Sigh.

In good news, we’re having some friends over for a holiday celebration. I’m excited for that part. We’re going to watch some terribly unfunny and unscary movies and have a good time.

Beth and Mr. Beth and I went to a Halloween party last Saturday that was our real Halloween time. I went as a sailor, Beth went as a French maid, and Mr. Beth (his name is James, by the way) was someone who works for Capital Health…I guess. It was fun, and we were out until really late. The highlight of that party was a bunch of people went as the kids from Recess, including the Diggers, TJ, Spinelli, Gus, King Bob, and Guru Kid. I wish I’d gotten a picture.

Good times were had.

I hope you guys are having a good Halloween. I hope those of you on the East Coast are okay. I’m thinking of y’all for sure. It’s not too bad here, just raining. But Halifax is rainy anyway, so it’s like normal. It is so windy that all the fall leaves are now gone. L Sigh. Time for winter.

Take care, and have a safe and happy Halloween. See you tomorrow.

OH. I’m thinking of vlogging on the days when I can’t blog. Uploading from my phone is très easy (thanks Android!) so it doesn’t take long at all. Whatcha think?

Also, thanks Beth for the photos. I got my camera fixed though, so we should be back in business soon!
