MUFE Birthday Goodies from Sephora

It was my birthday a few weeks ago, but I just got the chance to stop into Sephora for my birthday freebie. Last year, the gift was courtesy of Benefit, but this year it’s from another one of my favorite brands, Make Up For Ever.

The first of the two products in the birthday sampler is the Make Up For Ever Smoky Extravagant Mascara in this adorable mini.

This mascara is fabulous. It’s black as black can get and makes my lashes look seriously great. The problem with this is that the wand is almost comically huge. It is the size of my whole eye. I found it kind of difficult to work with, but the results are worth it. I do recommend a good eyelash curler. This mascara made my lashes stick straight out without one. It lasts and lasts and lasts on me too, even surviving the shower.

The other product is the Make Up For Ever Rouge Artist Natural Lipstick in shade N9, which is called Copper Pink. Copper Pink is the best way to describe this gorgeous color. It’s rosy, but has copper undertones that make it very wearable. The formula is really smooth and moisturizing, so it doesn’t cling to any dry patches you might have. The buildable color lasts an average amount of time, around four hours. I’m happy with that though.

Both of these products are great and I can see myself using them right up until the very end. The lipstick is so great that I might check out the other colors the next time I’m in my local Sephora.
