Cook With Me #1 | Whole Wheat Pizza
Something that I like to do both to save a lilttle money and to get a better result is to make our own bread products here at home. I made a quick little video of how I make pizza crust at home, and here's the ingredients and video if you want to do this yourself! This recipe is adapted from the Skinny Chick Cookbook, available here on amazon! It was one of my favorites last month, and I have been loving trying out some new recipes. This makes two pizza crusts.
- 1 cup warm water
- 1 tbsp yeast
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 1/2 cups white flour
- 2 tbsp olive oil
I really love this cookbook because it starts with a low-gluten, often vegan, recipe and gives you enough freedom to add things to it that you like. Like I mentioned in my favorites, this cookbook wasn't really made for me. At the same time, it's been easy to adapt the recipes into my current diet and life. I love it, and I hope you do too!
